Vitamin C Skin Restorative Complex Serum
Our Vitamin C Skin Restorative Complex Serum contains naturally extracted Hyaluronic Acid, Niacin, Alpha Hydroxy Acids & ofcourse Vitamin C in the form of various fruit acids combined in the serum complex. All ingredients are natural and there is absolutely NO CHEMICALS in this serum or anything else on this site. Explanation of four ingredients are below:
Vitamin C: Vitamin C is all around us in nature. There are many benefits of Vitamin C for skin but in regards to skin lightening it, just like our other ingredients kojic acid and glutathione, it works on the protein in the skin involved with melanin production therefore inhibiting the protein from forming more melanin. The more melanin your cells produce, the darker your skin will become.
It also increases the levels of Glutathione which is in our Illuminating Moisturizer. Using them both will increase glutathione’s benefits on skin lightening which works by inhibiting the proteins in your skin from creating melanin, similar to Vitamin C. It also exfoliates the skin and helps get rid of dead skin cells which are darker exposing the lighter and brighter skin cells below.
Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic Acid maintains the youthful look of the skin and prevents aging and wrinkling. When the skin is young, it contains high levels of Hyaluronic acid, and this changes with age. Over time the body loses its ability to retain water. This leads to the development of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin’s ability to once again retain water within it and remain firm which helps eliminate wrinkles and keeps the skin young.
Niacin: Niacin is a dietary supplement that when used topically boosts the water content in the skin This is good for acne along with overall skin health. As a skin lightening agent, niacin effectively reduces areas of random pigmentation and age spots. Applying Niacin topically also has several benefits on aging skin including enhanced barrier function; enhanced appearance of photo aged facial skin (including texture, hyper pigmentation, redness, and wrinkles) and reduced sebum(oil) production.
Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHAs): Alpha Hydroxy Acids can come chemically or naturally. We use the the naturally derived acid with the fruits highest in them being lemons, grapefruits, papaya, pineapple and tomato. Alpha hydroxy acids act as chemical exfoliants, which help loosen and get rid of the dead skin cells on your skin's surface.
